Brew-B-Q Vendor Application

Pre-registration is required and must be postmarked no later than August 1. No registration will be accepted after the August 1 date.

Vendor applications are accepted on a first come, first serve basis. No vending fee is required and you are not required to be a Brew-B-Q contestant to vend food products. Store-fronts are 20 feet across and about 50 feet deep.

The Brew-B-Q will sell tickets in $1.00 increments. Vendors are required to take these tickets only – CASH SALES ARE NOT PERMITTED. Vendors are also required to create menus for public display showing appropriate incremental ticket values. The Brew-B-Q will return eighty (80) percent of gross sales for commercial vendors and ninety (90) percent of gross sales for non-profit groups within 7-days of event.

Vendor Information

Trailers/booths, whose wiring are not in compliance with the National Electrical Code or are otherwise deemed unsafe due to deterioration, grounding, etc., will not be supplied electricity. 120v, 20 amps and 220v, 50/30 amp receptacles are available; however the 220v is on a limited basis. 100 foot electrical cords are recommended & only one per appliance is required where amperage is 10 or higher. Power strips should not be used.

In consideration of the Independence Brew-B-Q Committee accepting this entry, I, the undersigned, intending to be legally bound, hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors, and administrators, waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages I may have against the City of Independence, the Independence Celebrations Committee, Inc., and the Independence Brew-B-Q Committee their agents, successors, and assigns for any and all injuries suffered. Further, I hereby grant full permission to the Independence Celebrations Committee, Inc. and or their authorized agents to use any photographs, videotapes, recordings or any other record on this event for any legitimate purpose.
