Our second annual Brew-B-Q Brew Tasting was very successful; it was a perfect tasting day and the crowd was exceptional. We introduced over 80 brews and donated a significant amount to our charity, Big Brothers, Big Sisters – Mentoring Program.

If you’re only familiar with beverages that come from Milwaukee or St. Louis, the 2008 Brew Tasting on September 20 is the place you need to be. There will be so many brews available to sample at the Independence Brew-B-Q Brew Tasting that everything you thought you knew and liked about beer will change.
Entrance to the Brew-B-Q, Riverwalk Parks is free for all ages, admission will be charged for the Brew Tasting as it is a fundraising event. No one under 21 years of age will be allowed into the Brew Tasting and there are no exceptions.
Once inside our Brew Tasting area you can enjoy samples of all the beers in your own Commemorative Independence Brew-B-Q glass (included with your admission!). Learn more about the brewing process and the beers. Compare notes and favorites with your friends. You’ll be amazed how so many beers can be so truly unique and at the same time so delicious!
Representative brews from Wisconsin, Washington, Colorado, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, from Germany, Belgium, Holland, Poland, Canada and other countries give the Brew Tasting a truly International flavor.
Of course once inside the Brew Tasting you’ll be free to walk back and forth from the Brew Tasting to the BBQ. Because all the good beer will make you hungry, and all the amazing food available will make you thirsty!
The Brew Tasting will be open from 3:00 – 7:00. Tickets are $15 in advance. $20 at the gate.
