Pipestone People’s Choice Invitational

The 2010 Independence Brew-B-Q is on the books for August 28 in the Riverwalk Parks Band Shell location.  This year you get to participate in judging our contestant-vendor efforts in the Pipestone People’s Choice Invitational.

For $10 you get tickets to judge our contestant-vendor’s ribs, one ticket, one rib, one vote.  While you are sampling you are judging for tenderness and flavor.  Once you have enjoyed each, return to the ticket-beverage pavilion and complete your ballot.

And, just to let you know those same contestant-vendors will be preparing and serving up pulled pork and brisket.  Sometime after 12-noon the Independence Brew-B-Q Committee will send buyers to each of the contestant-vendors to purchase a pulled pork and brisket sandwich to be judged in a Blind Judging.  So, each time someone buys a pulled pork or brisket sandwich the contestant-vendor will not know if the person buying is buying for themselves or for the Blind Judging.  You can be sure that what serve up will be their best.
